"Contest"
Part of the fun of Winter Wonderland of Lights is seeing area homes and businesses all dressed up for the holidays. Each year, we recognize the best of them. Applications and more information about our home decorating award will soon be available below.
The Jonathan Ferguson Award is given to the business in Boyd or Greenup county which best portrays the theme chosen by the Winter Wonderland of Lights committee. This year's theme is "Christmas At Granny's". Businesses of any size may participate, and no entry fee is required. Just complete an application and return it to the Ashland Alliance, 1733 Winchester Ave., Ashland, by Nov. 20. Winners will be notified the third week of December. The winner will be photographed and posted on this site and used in marketing information about the contest in future publications.

Winner of the 2006 Busines Decorating Contest
Jamie’s Treasures , 2301 1st Street, Westwood,is the 2007 receipient of the “Jonathan Ferguson Award” in the Business Decorating Contest. This award is given to a business in Boyd or Greenup County, which elects to decorate their business for the Christmas Season and “BEST”, portrays the theme, which for 2007 was “The Beauty of Christmas ”.
